Investment Size: typical deal size of $5-$25 million, which often exceeds the capacity of smaller investors (HNW or HNW aggregators), but is often ignored by larger investors (equity funds, public companies, sovereign funds)

Markets: typical investments are made in non-gateway markets that primarily lack attention from institutional investors but could, post-asset stabilization, draw interest from institutions or local players

Investment Profile: focus on investments that are difficult to categorize through a conventional risk/reward label (core, value-add, opportunistic, etc.) and require repositioning and restructuring
